Site Name Gets Added to Title Tag

    Hey there!

    I have a problem, I have noticed this on several websites and it started happening lately.

    No matter what settings I disable, or remove syntaxes, the name of the Site (Defined in WP Settings) gets added to the Title tag.

    If I turn off RankMath and switch to Yoast SEO for example, the problem disappears.

    This is not a Google Indexing or Google Title Rewriting Issue, as it’s not the SERP or the Indexed Page I’m referring to.

    This site title gets added to the Title tag itself in the HTML code, please see the screenshot!

    I have noticed this on several websites and I couldn’t find a solution yet.

    Could you please let me know how this could be solved?

    Could you please check the single post/page titles on your WordPress dashboard > Rank Math > Titles & Meta > [Post Type]? The %sitename% variable will fetch the site name there

    If you have already removed the sitename variable there and the issue still persists, then we might need to take a closer look at the settings.
