    Hello,

    %sitename% in a single page title or headline does only appear in newly published pages but it does not appear in all my ‘old’ pages which I already had before I installed the plugin.

    This is what I have entered in WP Dashboard > Rank Math > Titles & Meta > Pages > Single Site Title + Headline:

    %title% %sep% %sitename%

    In google ranking the site name does not appear either anymore.

    Could you please help me?

    Best Regards,

    Niclas

  • Hello,

    Thank you for contacting Rank Math and bringing your concern to our attention. I’m sorry for the delay and for any inconvenience this issue may have caused you.

    Could you please also share some affected links to check this issue?

    However, please check those old pages’ titles by editing them and ensuring these variables are already entered in the title area.

    You can also use this tool to check the title.

    I hope that helps. Thank you, and looking forward to your update.

    Hello Reinelle,

    here are some affected links:

    [moved to Sensitive Data Section]

    I do have the problem for each page and since I have more than 1700 pages I can not add the website tile manually to each single page.

    I just want to have the website title (PrudentWater) at the end of each page title. Actually it should work because the settings to have it should be all correct.

    May I send you my login data so you could check it?

    Best Regards,

    Niclas

    Hello,

    Thank you for that information, and sorry for the delay.

    We might need to take a closer look at the settings. Please edit the first post on this ticket and include your WordPress & FTP logins in the designated Sensitive Data section.
    Sensitive Data Section

    It is completely secure and only our support staff has access to that section. If you want, you can use the below plugin to generate a temporary login URL to your website and share that with us instead:

    https://wordpress.org/plugins/temporary-login-without-password/

    You can use the above plugin in conjunction with the WP Security Audit Log to monitor what changes our staff might make on your website (if any):

    Thank you, and we really look forward to helping you.

    Hello,

    Thank you for getting back to us.

    Upon checking your site, I have noticed that your site is not accessible when trying to login. It is currently displaying a 503 error as shown here: https://i.rankmath.com/saQ56e

    In any case, you have any restrictions in place you can lift them for a while so we are in a position to check your issue here.

    We are looking forward to helping you.
    Thank you.

    Hello Brian,

    thanks for your reply. Maybe it was because of Wordfence, I deactivated the plugin for a while. Does it work now?

    Regards,
    Niclas

    Hello.

    Thank you for getting back to us.

    Unfortunately, the error here is still persistent on our end. This seems to be some restrictions within your server. Kindly try accessing it yourself within an incognito mode or in a new browser to see this error.

    We are looking forward to helping you.
    Thank you.

    Hello,

    Thanks for your reply.

    I was able to login into your website’s admin area and upon inspecting the pages, I found that you’ve manually set the Meta Title for the pages from the page editor window.

    You can either change the titles on the pages individually or you can add the below code in your theme’s functions.php file. The below code will ensure that the global SEO title is applied on all the pages even if you’ve set the SEO title from your editor window.

    add_action( 'rank_math/frontend/title', function( $title ) {
    	global $post;
    	if(is_singular('page')){
    		$ptitle = RankMath\Helper::get_settings( "titles.pt_{$post->post_type}_title" );
    		$title = RankMath\Helper::replace_vars($ptitle, $post);
    		return $title;
    	}
    });

    Do note that the above code will ensure that the global SEO title format would be applied to all the pages including the new pages that you will create in the future.

    Please let us know how that goes.

    Thanks.

    Hello,

    thanks for your reply.

    I put the code in the functions.php but I does not work. I also tried the additional css editor and also the Customizer but none of it worked.

    It is a bit strange because before I used All in One SEO and with that plugin the site name (PrudentWater) appeared in the single page title. Otherwise I did not change anything so I wonder why the site name does not appear anymore.

    However, the code does not seem to work. Do you know the reason?

    Hey,

    I have seen that this solution causes a problem. It overrides the individual self created SEO-Title for each single page. So this solution does not work for me.

    I do not understand why the website title does not appear in each page title even though it is activated in rankmath settings. But when I create a new page, then the website title does automatically appear in the page title.
