    Hello,

Thank you for contacting Rank Math and sorry for any inconvenience that might have been caused due to that.

It seems it is being cached. Are you using some caching plugin? If yes, what plugin is? So we can help you to exclude the sitemap from the cache.

Looking forward to helping you. Thank you.

    Hello,

We might need to take a closer look at the settings. Please edit the first post on this ticket and include your WP logins in the designated Sensitive Data section.
    Sensitive Data Section

It is completely secure and only our support staff has access to that section. If you want, you can use the below plugin to generate a temporary login URL to your website and share that with us instead:

    https://wordpress.org/plugins/temporary-login-without-password/

You can use the above plugin in conjunction with the WP Security Audit Log to monitor what changes our staff might make on your website (if any):

    https://wordpress.org/plugins/wp-security-audit-log/

We really look forward to helping you.

    Hello,

I have updated the sensitive data as requested. Can you please check further?

    Thank you.

    To let you know,

I switched back to Yoast ro see what would happen, Google liked their sitemap..

I have now switched back to RankMath as I prefer it.

As an aside.. whilst you are looking can you make any advice.

    My site speed is good,
I think my content is good.
I have a load of backlinks, not sure if they are good or not.
But I can not seem to move up the rankings against sites that are slower with less backlinks.

I am hoping that it is the site map that is causing problems.. SO any advice would be appreciated.

    Hello,

Your cache plugin (Autoptimize) was caching the sitemap so it gave you the issue. I emptied the cache and as you can see everything is working fine. But you should consider changing your cache plugin to one that supports excluding pages from cache so you can exclude caching the sitemaps (or you could still use Autoptimize but with the caching section disabled and use another plugin for cache).

Looking forward to helping you. Thank you.

Sorry.. I have removed autoptimizer and the problem remains.

    I am using Hummingbird,

is there anything else I should be using?

IT this is not my strong point so any advice would be welcomed

    Hello,

Thank you for contacting Rank Math today.

You can use a caching plugin such as WP Rocket or WP Fastest Cache as alternatives to Humming bird.

Hope that helps and please do not hesitate to let us know if you need our assistance with anything else.

    Hello,

Since we did not hear back from you for 15 days, we are assuming that you found the solution. We are closing this support ticket.

If you still need assistance or any other help, please feel free to open a new support ticket, and we will be more than happy to assist.

    Thank you.
