    Hi,

    my site is having an issue with the sitemap that I am not able to fix by myself. I know you guys helped me out with this already 3 months ago, and it worked quite well for a while.

    Yesterday, I run an SEO audit that alerted me on a missing sitemap. In fact, I checked Search Console and they also could not access sitemap. I tried to produce a new one and submit it.

    Unfortunately that does not work, I get an error code and the sitemap is listed within RankMath but cannot be opened. I tried to refresh the settings on links as in your instructions, but it did not change anything. Could you please have a quick look on that to help me resolve the issue?

    Hello,

    Thank you for contacting Rank Math and sorry for any inconvenience that might have been caused due to that.

    Can you please follow these steps?

    1. Flush the Sitemap cache by following this video screencast:
    https://i.rankmath.com/xXXhDt

    2. Exclude the Sitemap files of the Rank Math plugin in your caching plugin. The cache could be via a plugin or from the server.

    That should fix the issue. Please let me know if that does not. We are here to assist.

    Hi Uzair,

    txs a lot for your quick reply. I tried to follow the steps your indicated. Part 1 was simple, but I could not find where to exclude the Sitemap Files in the caching plugin. Sorry, the problem still persists. If you want to have a direct look on that, an access link is included above.

    Hello,

    I added *sitemap* to be excluded in your Cache Plugin; Settings > Cache >Advanced settings then cleared cache and resaved your permalinks settings and the sitemaps seem to load fine now.

    Dear Michael,

    thxs for your quick help on this! I just checked and tried to actualize the sitemaps. Two of them are fine and do not give me any more errors, only the https://magicblueplanet.com/page-sitemap.xml still gives me an error in the sitemap list. (Could not attach a screenshot here, it is in the Rankmath/Search Console/Sitemap tab)

    Is that normal? Because even with the error in the list, I can open this sitemap file in a new tab without any problems. Sorry if this is a stupid question.**

    Hello,

    Unfortunately in the Rankmath/Search Console/Sitemap tab can only see there is an error but I can’t see what error.
    Please remove all your sitemaps and submit only the main sitemap on your GSC. If there are any issues shown after that, share a screenshot of the error. You can use https://imgbb.com/ and add the URL to the sensitive section.
