Site Map confusion

    I am using your RankMath plugin and trying to set it up effectively. I am really struggling with the constant conflict of recommended settings that occur in the set up documentation and the knowledge base and need some clarification please.

    In the site map section the wizard is recommending that the image attachment page url should be set to off to avoid thin content being geenrated and yet in the kb it is recommending that the setting should be on – I am beginning to have doubts about using this and need some clarification as other settings too have given me doubts – a bit disappointed tbh 🙁

    This setting is effective depending on the kind of website that you are developing. For instance you may be building a photography website where the main content on your website is the images or you have a store where you would like to include product images on the search results. In this scenario it is recommended to enable the option to add images to your sitemap.
    On the other hand if you website does not rely on the attachments on the page then it is not necessary to dilute your page results with thin content and you can disable this option.
