  • Hello,

Thank you for getting in touch and I am extremely sorry about the trouble this might have caused.

Your homepage seems to appear if I use your page title as the Search term:

Please note that it is completely upto Google if they want to index or not index your website. So, if you haven’t willingly or accidentally made your posts noindex and Google still isn’t indexing your page – it means that either Google doesn’t want to index or hasn’t crawled your page yet because it hasn’t allocated that much crawl budget to your website.

Please check this website for more details.

Hope that helps and please do not hesitate to let us know if you need our assistance with anything else.

Thank you for your response. I read the article you linked and two things that come to my mind are:

    – Duplicated content: there were 30 posts with same description with different youtube links. I have removed them all since last week.
    – Language: Some parts of this website is bilingual (English and Punjabi). Does this have anything to do with the indexing?

All pages are set to index.

    Hello,

If you search the individual URLs on Google you will note the pages appear even though they seem to have been indexed a month ago:

Please resubmit only your main sitemap on GSC, sitemap_index.xml, and give it sometime for Google to crawl your pages and update their cache.

Looking forward to helping you. Thank you.

The reason behind adding only pages sitemap was due to google not discovering any pages.
I deleted the pages sitemap today and resubmitted the main sitemap. I’ll check after a few days. https://prnt.sc/u43wtb

    Hello,

Please observe and let us know if the issue persists.

Looking forward to helping you. Thank you.

After two days it still says Total discovered URLs 0. https://prnt.sc/u43wtb

    Hello,

I checked your sitemap and it seems to be still cached by cloudfare.

Please add the following to exclusion rules to keep sitemaps from being cached.
    https://yourdomain.com/*sitemap*

Looking forward to helping you. Thank you.

I added an exclusion to Wp Rocket caching plugin as suggested. I also cleared the cache in Cloudflare. Can you please check now if it is updated?

    Hello,

It seems it is still being cached by Cloudflare. You should create also an exception there, you can use this guide: https://support.cloudflare.com/hc/en-us/articles/200172316-How-do-I-include-or-exclude-a-specific-URL-from-Cloudflare-s-page-rules-

You will need to create an exception for https://ab*****************ch.com/*sitemap*

    Looking forward to help you.

    Done. Is this correct? https://prnt.sc/u5r2jk

    Hello,

Please use *sitemap* to exclude all sitemap and replace it where you have *sitemap_index.xml*.

Hope that helps. If you have any further question(s), please let us know. Thank you.

I made this change. I checked it is still using last month’s cache.

    Hello,

Make sure to clear the cache after saving those exceptions or they couldn’t be displayed until the old cache expires. After that, if the issue continues, let us know.

    Looking forward to help you.

I cleared Cloudflare and wp rocket cache today. Can you please check if cache is cleared?

    Hello,

We might need to take a closer look at the settings. Please edit the first post on this ticket and include your WP logins in the designated Sensitive Data section.
    Sensitive Data Section

It is completely secure and only our support staff has access to that section. If you want, you can use the below plugin to generate a temporary login URL to your website and share that with us instead:

    https://wordpress.org/plugins/temporary-login-without-password/

You can use the above plugin in conjunction with the WP Security Audit Log to monitor what changes our staff might make on your website (if any):

    https://wordpress.org/plugins/wp-security-audit-log/

We really look forward to helping you.

    Hello,

Since we did not hear back from you for 15 days, we are assuming that you found the solution. We are closing this support ticket.

If you still need assistance or any other help, please feel free to open a new support ticket, and we will be more than happy to assist.

    Thank you.
