Site Image 404 errors

    I have enabled the 404 monitor and notice that I have many imag errors e.g. wp-content/uploads/example/example1.jpg – I have checked Googles index and these are are not indexed in search results. However when I place the string in the browser they do return a 404.

    How should I resolve these please?

    Yes but I need to understand why the error is showing so I can decide whether to fix it or not – should I change a setting it the plugin, should I re-direct it or something else?

    Thanks for the question.

    These errors are likely resulting from some deleted media files that are still referenced in your posts / pages. The best course of action would be to redirect them to a certain page such as the homepage.
