Site description in search results incorrect

    what i am having issues with tho is controlling my meta description that shows up under site title search results that gives a quick explanation of what the site does. I want to control what people see cuz the one that is being chosen for me by random it seems is getting less click thru then the one i had written when i was using Yoast. do you know what im talking about? This is what it says now if you find my site in a search result

    but i want it to say this

    i cant seem to find the place that lets me control this and how it apears in search results

    ok so i fixed that but i noticed now my canonical url keeps disappearing every couple days? any help?
