Single post not being crawled

For some reason I have a post that was las crawled on 8/1 and keeps coming back with a crawl anomaly in Search Console. No other posts or pages give me this error and when I go to the actual sitemap to check the status, the post loads with no issues. This is literally a post-specific issue so the general sitemap 404 issues don’t apply.

Is this a problem with the plugin or a Google issue?

I’ve already tried to use the recrawl and validate fix features and it’s not doing anything.

The link to the sitemap, the post in question and the link to the search console page are in the Sensitive Data section.

    Thanks!

  • Hello,

Thank you for contacting Rank Math and sorry for any inconvenience that might have been caused due to that.

I checked your sitemap and it is showing the post correctly. I also checked your post with this tool: https://httpstatus.io/ and it is not a 404 page. It is likely an issue coming from Google, may be it was unable to crawl your page in the last attempt. Please validate the URL again and if the issue persists, let us know.

Looking forward to helping you. Thank you.
