There are other issues with 1.0.41 – it is producing PHP errors in the WP plugins interface. There are many, many other tickets already logged on the bug in this release.
Yes, it created a bunch of PHP errors. Had to disable temporarily on a live site that automatically updated the plugin.

On some installations where other plugins were utilizing CMB2 library, the errors were popping up.
