  • Hello,

Thank you for contacting Rank Math today.

This will be dependent on the type of website you have and the kind of keywords that you have optimized for your category and tag pages. Categories create structure which can further help search engines to understand your content and in this regard should be set to index.
On the other hand if you are worried about duplicate content errors then you can opt to noindex these pages.

Looking forward to helping you. Thank you.

    Thanks, Michael

I understand your response. In my case, I guess I need to keep them indexed. I have no-indexed all Tags because the content is very low out there.

Is it true that a Silo structure in internal linking can boost the performance of the entire website in Search Engine?

    Hi Nirmal,

    Thanks for the question.

Yes this is correct, the silo structure creates an integral benefit in that search engine crawlers can easily understand and crawl your content which is beneficial to your SEO.

I hope this info helps. Thank you.

Thanks for the suggestion. I will focus on implementing this.

    Hello,
