    Hello team,
this is not exactly the issue with the Rank Math service but I have a doubt as it scores on the usage of keywords in a post.

I’ve been writing posts by targeting one focus keyword as the main keyword of a post.
As the algorithm suggests I put the keywords in heading, URL, and in the first few words of the initial paragraph.

Then I repeat the same exact keyword until I achieve the green signal from Rank Math.

So, is this practice right for creating content? Since I am repeating the exact keywords in a post.

Let’s say “plasma donation done right” is in heading, URL, first paragraph, and whole content. (1% of total number of words in an article)

I try to keep it natural but I don’t think google works this way. Please give some insight.

Also, look at the example sight, it’s not using the keywords in its content as Rank Math tells to use every one.

  • Hello,

Thank you for contacting Rank Math support today and bringing your concern to our attention.

Remember that adding more than 1 keyword is important, but I would also suggest that you keep it natural as you mentioned. This should be perfectly fine as it’s pretty clear you are not trying to do any “keyword stuffing” of any sort.

Please note that you should avoid inserting an incredibly high amount of keywords to get indexed on a wide spectrum because that can have exactly the opposite result you want. Focus on picking up a few but related to your website and work on improving your search results for those, rather than trying to gather to a very wide range.

If you have any more questions don’t hesitate to get in touch. We are here to help.

Thanks for replying. Still not sure, should I ignore the rank math score?

Because, when I write naturally, I won’t repeat keywords multiple times but use semantically related words.

Rank math counts the focus keywords in heading, first para, content.

It is not about multiple keywords, but one single focus keyword.

Mistakenly posted with an old account.

My doubt is simple. (single keywords not multiple)

Rank math asks to repeat the same keywords. Put it in the first paragraph, put it in the whole content many times (same and only keyword).

If I do not follow that then Rank math gives a low score and asks to put the keywords.

Could you please tell me how can I do it naturaly?

    Hello,

    Apologies for the confusion.

Yes, in order to pass the tests, you would need to insert your keywords to your title, body, even in the permalink, image alt tags and etc. This needed to be exactly the same as your focus keyword which is challenging to do sometimes as you need to make it as natural as possible so it is up to you if you don’t need to follow all the tests.

With that said, these tests are just guidelines and one does not need to follow them religiously.

At the end of the day, the content needs to be written for the readers and not for the search engines.
