Setup Rankmath on preproduction site

    Hello 🙂

    First I want to thank you for your amazing plugin.

    I’m sorry to bother you with this simple question, but I want to know if it’s good to install rankmath on a beta (pre-production on a temporary domain name) site before migrating to the final domain name.

    I don’t know if I’m clear but I want to fill the meta description, title … before putting it online but I don’t know if rankmath use the domain name to setup some SEO things that will have a negative impact on SEO when I put in on the other (final) domain name, or if it’s possible to tell RankMath that my domain name change.

    Hope I’m clear and sorry if my question have been asked before but I couldn’t find it with the search fonction, english is not my first language so maybe I was looking for the wrong search terms.

    Hello,

    Thank you for contacting Rank Math and bringing your concern to our attention. I’m sorry for the delay.

    You can set up Rank Math even your site is still unpublished or not yet live. Your configurations/settings will be applied as well when you push your site to a live URL. Although, you would need to update some options like redirects.
