Yes correct,the plugin sets a relative URL path and I was wondering if there is s way to convert that to absolute.

Ah you know what I just realized, I think it has to do with how we are generating static HTML/CSS files in order to deploy it via our pipeline that is using Firebase.. so I think that generation of static files is stripping out the root domain reference from the absolute URL in the open graph image.
