Hello – can RM help with this?

I have a client I am helping with their SEO https://wildplayflora.com.au

They are a florist. Their business has an address BUT they do not serve customers there.

They serve customers at their location and also deliver products to their homes so they are a ‘service area business’ in Google My Business.

On their website, the home page targets the main city of their service area eg. Brisbane

Then they have local area pages for the different suburbs that they service eg. Paddington

Someone suggested I use the following schema…

    Home page (main city)
    – Organization schema
    – LocalBusiness schema (the main city – @areaserved property)

    Local area pages (suburbs)
    – LocalBusiness schema (the suburb – @areserved property)

How can I use RM to set up a schema for this business???

    Hello,

Thank you for contacting Rank Math today.

Usually, it is recommended that, if you don’t serve customers at your business address you should clear the address field and only enter your service area. In your case, since you serve customers at their location, Service-area business is best for you since it is a business that visits or delivers to customers directly.

With Rank Math, you can use the implementation for Area Served under the Homepage and the location pages that you serve. However, this implementation can only be found within the PRO version of the plugin.

You can make use of the Area Served option in the Local Business Schema that will cause all products and services to be available only to the service areas listed.

Here are some guides for your reference if you wish to try this with our PRO version:

Hope this helps. Please let us know if you got any other questions. We really look forward to helping you.
