SEP Analysis Mobile Snapshot not Updating

    I have run the SEO Analysis tool several times and find that it does not update the Mobile Snapshot.

    In an effort to fix the issue, I have cleared the site cache and I have flushed the SEO Analysis data in the database tools several times. I have cleared my browser cache several times. Yet, the Mobile Snapshot continues to display an old image of a GDPR screen which completely covers the website page. That GDPR screen was produced by a plugin that has been disabled for quite some time. The current plugin that I use for that purpose puts up a simple box at the top of the screen.

    Why doesn’t the Mobile Snapshot refresh, even after clearing caches and flushing the seo analysis data? It seems that if I cannot trust that part to be correct, other bits on the SEO Analysis page may also not be accurate.

    Have you checked your homepage settings? Is the desktop preview updated? Could you please share your site URL and a screenshot of the preview from your end so we can test and compare.

    It would also be nice to confirm if the cause is a conflict with one of the plugins or the theme you are using assuming you are using the latest version of all the plugins and the themes (please update if not yet). To determine that, you can follow this troubleshooting guide:

    Only the site admin would know and your users won’t be affected by this troubleshooting.

    This is the second time to type this reply. The first time was deleted when I submitted the domain name.

    I installed the Health Check plugin and followed the instructions you linked to. The problem exists with nothing active but RankMath and the Health Check plugin. The issue is not with a plugin or theme.

    You’ve asked some vague questions. Have I checked my Homepage settings? What homepage settings are you asking about? You asked if the desktop preview is updated. I presume you are talking about the snippet on the homepage edit screen. That is the only “desktop preview” that I can find. The snippet is updating.

    I took a screenshot of the mobile preview but I can find a way to attach it to this ticket. The IMG at the top of this text box loads a box to type in a URL, not a local path. I also took a screenshot of the snippet.

    I can tell you that the GDPR notice that you’ll see if you go to https://thetechiesenior.com on a phone is not the same one you would see on the SEO Analysis page. You will see a green box at the top of the page with white text and four orange buttons. That is as it should be. The preview that persists in SEO Analysis is a white box full of text that covers the entire front page in the mobile preview. As I said in my original ticket, that white full page GDPR notice is from a plugin that is no longer used and is not even installed on my website. The GDPR notice shown in the RankMath SEO Analysis is not a page or a post.

    I want to trust RankMath but it concerns me that the SEO Analysis page will not update that preview, even after cache purges, browser caches being emptied, the SEO Analysis data being purged from Status & Tools > Database Tools. All of these things have been done multiple times, yet that image persists as if it is part of RankMath itself.

    You can use https://imgbb.com/ for your images then share the image URL in the sensitive section.
