SEO score not consistent

Most of the SEO scores are not visible in the overall page listing; says ‘Update your post’. Tried that. And there is a difference in the SEO score if I edit the page in WordPress regular editor or Elementor. See attached loom video.

Aside note, it would enhance work efficiency a lot if all five keywords could be edited in the Bulk Editor. Now I can add five (with commas) but only see one after saving.

You haven’t considered adding a unique rank math bulk editor? At least 30% of the time it takes working with SEO is loading time.

  • Hello,

Thank you for contacting Rank Math today.

We really appreciate the feedback and I will pass this on to our dev team for consideration.

While editing in Elementor, the page builder renders shortcodes unlike the backend editor and thus some tests are not executed in Elementor. The tests on the backend with thus show the correct score.

Some JavaScript code also need to run on the backend page for all the tests to execute and get an SEO score.

Looking forward to helping you. Thank you.

Right, I understand the difference between WP backend editor and Elementor. But not the pages listing overview. Let me know if you want access.

    HI Anders,

    Thanks for the follow up.

Can you confirm that editing and resaving the post does not fix the issue?

If this is the case, please share the temporary admin access so that we can dig deeper into the problem.

    Thank you.

Do I add the account info to the ‘sensitive data’ box?

    Hello,

I have updated the sensitive data as requested. Can you please check further?

    Thank you.

    Hi Anders,

    Thanks for the follow up.

This seems to be stemming from a conflict with some of your installed plugins.
The update works as expected when all your plugins are disabled in troubleshooting mode.

Could you please backup your site and then update all the outdated plugins including Elementor and let us know how this goes?

    Thank you.

I just updated every plugin except Woocommerce (which just came with a 4.0.0 version, and I want to wait a bit with that one). The score for the aforementioned page (‘Almecolocket vikbart flaklock i aluminium till pickup’) is shown now in the page listning. But no score for a page ‘broschyrer’ (brochures) that I just edited (no Elementor on that one). It has a 81 score in editing mode and the score isn’t shown in the page listning. Is there some kind of delay? I have cleared both page cache and Autoptimize cache.

    Hi Anders,

    Thanks for the follow up.

The issue is related to a conflict with one of your installed plugins.
I’ve already installed the Health Check plugin, please perform these steps to troubleshoot:
    https://rankmath.com/kb/check-plugin-conflicts/

Let me know how this goes. Thank you.

The only thing that the health plugin points out is that imagick isn’t installed. Other than that it just recommends to uninstall a couple of deactivated plugins.

Page listing is still not showing some ranks.

I updated to the latest Rank Math just one hour ago.

The problem persists. Could it have an impact on the SEO work I do now with Rank Math with my pages and products? What should I look for in the page source code in a page that does not show any score in the page listing?

This is an example page with rank score in WP editor but no score in page listing:

    Hello,

Thank you for contacting Rank Math today.

I have been able to narrow down the issue to “Nextend Accordion Menu” plugin which is affecting the update of the page score on the listing page.

Please note that the page score if only for reference to give some guidance on areas that you should improve on and will not affect your SEO.

I can suggest that you reach out to the author of this plugin and notify them of the conflict. We would be happy to work with their team to fix this.

Looking forward to helping you. Thank you.

Could you give me something more tangible to convey to the author of Nextend accordion menu? It’s not very helpful to just send a message that they are to blame and please fix it. How do you know that it is Nextend Accordion menu?
    https://wordpress.org/plugins/nextend-accordion-menu/

It is the free version and I am using that menu on several sites. Strange that it doesn’t work on just this site.

    Hi Anders,

    Thanks for the follow up.

I have just installed this plugin on my testing area but I could not replicate the saving issue.
Kindly allow our team to perform more tests and we will get back to you.

We appreciate your continued patience. Thank you.

Ok, thank you. Sorry to be a bother. I did a DB backup. There should probably be zero visitors from now and eight hours forwards. So if you want to set the site in maintenance mode (Seedprod), that is fine.

    Best wishes
    Magnus

You know what, the score for the page I was referring to earlier, ‘broschyrer’ (brochures) now shows its score in the page listing. But most of the others don’t show up.
