e.g. If the Focus Keyword is set to something like “Lorem Ipsum” but the title says “Lorem: Ipsum” or “Lorem – Ipsum” RankMath won’t recognize it’s in the same context. Wouldn’t it be better if RankMath would recognize such small deviations in Keywords?

  • Hello,

Thank you for contacting Rank Math today and for your valuable suggestion.

This is a great feature request to mimic the current search engine algorithms! I will pass this on to our dev team and hopefully this will see its way into the plugin sometime soon.

Let us know if you have additional questions or suggestions. Thank you.

    Hello,

For now, we are checking for the exact match of the focus keyword.

In a future release, we will be checking for the variations of the keyword too and ignore conjunctions, prepositions etc. in the keyword.

Appreciate your patience while we make it happen.
