SEO Score

  • My SEO score is off on a page because there is a ‘ in the title and for some reason it throws off the software from counting it towards my SEO score. I have a 20 on this page where all of my other pages that are the same except for the ‘ are +60.

Unrelated to this I have a custom template used for many of my pages and your software is unable to recognize external links built this way and this also is one of the reasons your software doesn’t grade my pages higher. This is an extremely minor issue (this one) and I’m not going to worry about it, but as long as I was mentioning the other above issue I thought that I’d at least mention it.

    Thanks

  • Hello,

Thank you for contacting Rank Math and sorry for any inconvenience that might have been caused due to that.

1). I am afraid that Rank Math currently checks for the exact match of a keyword on the title and we are hoping to make some improvements in future versions. As long as the keyword is present with a ‘ this will not affect your SEO since the score is only for reference.

2). It is likely that your page builder integration with our content analysis api is not complete. You can get in touch with your developer so that they can help in integrating the following code: https://rankmath.com/kb/content-analysis-api/

Looking forward to helping you. Thank you.
