SEO problems

  • Hello,

    I need your support.

I’ve created to blog websites which are associated to this account. However my SEO results are disastrous.

Lets focus first on the http://www.blog.villaramadas.com website. I’me getting any impression on google and traffic it is zero. My pages are not showing on SERPs.

Please find the link to download an excel with data I just exported from Google Search Console: https://we.tl/t-nWN4It7iIQ

As you can see results are horrendous. And any of the keywords I’ve used on my already published articles, are being shown or indexed by google. Why is that?

Can you please check my website and what is happening? Any major roadblock? I’m considering to upgrade rank math for all websites, but in reality is it that will solve this issue?

Or is something else more structural with my website? I’m not a developer, I’m just a guy that learned on its own to build websites but I feel I’m failing big to my customer.

Could you give some hints here? I’m feeling completely lost.

    Thanks a lot!! <3

    Hello,

Thank you for contacting Rank Math, and sorry for any inconvenience caused.

I tried checking the website but it is not reachable due to a DNS error:
    dns

Please check if the domain is correctly pointing to the nameservers. I’ll suggest you get in touch with your web hosting to fix this issue.

Installing a plugin doesn’t and can’t lead to improved search engine rankings.
Ranking on search engines like Google depends on so much more than just on on-page optimization. You could have the “perfect” content, and still, struggle to make it to the top 10 results in SERPs (search engine results pages).

You can refer to article for more information:
    https://rankmath.com/kb/does-installing-rank-math-guarantee-rankings/

You might need to design an SEO strategy to improve the SEO and rankings versus your competency.

Here are a few resources I think you will find useful while devising an SEO strategy.

    1. Keyword Research: https://mythemeshop.com/blog/keyword-research/

You can also refer to this detailed guide to optimize the content of your website: https://rankmath.com/kb/score-100-in-tests/

I hope that helps and please do not hesitate to let us know if you need our assistance with anything else.

    Hello,

I’ll suggest you get in touch with your web hosting to fix this issue.

    Looking forward to helping you.

    Hello,

But if I click the link it open the website. No problem at all. What could be causing this?

    Very strange. Any hint?

    Many thanks
    Nuno

    Hello,

It seems like your site is still not accessible and still returning a Connection Timed Out error.

Please check with your host and let us know when we can access it.

We really look forward to helping you.

    Thanks.

    Hello,

But when I click this link it is working.

    https://blog.villaramadas.com

Why you can’t open it? Doesn’t make sense at all. Right?
(nevertheless I’ve made a print scree and shared with my host)

I’ve also another question, I’ve turned on the option for Rank Math to add alternative metadata to imagens which doesn’t have it, but on the SEO Analysis it keeps reporting imagens that don’t have any ALT attributes. Why is that?

Also please support my initial request.

    Many thanks

    Hello,

I was able to access your site.

Upon checking, it seems that your site’s getting indexed. I’ve checked your sitemap and robots.txt, and they are working fine.

To investigate this issue further, head over to your Google Search Console account and check the coverage section for any issues reported on your site.

For the image’s ALT attributes, it seems that those images are coming from your theme.

Please note that the Add missing ALT attributes and Add missing TITLE attributes options are not added to images added by your WordPress theme or page builder to various sections like your sliders, thumbnails, icons, etc. as they only apply to images added directly on your content.

    I hope that helps.

    Thank you.

    Hello,

I have updated the sensitive data as requested. Can you please check further?

    Thank you.

    Hello,

Unfortunately, we’re again unable to access the website. It is returning the same connection timed out error.

I’ve created a screencast and added it to the sensitive data section of this ticket. You can forward the screencast to your web host.

Also, could you confirm if any errors are reported in the coverage section of your Google Search Console account?

Looking forward to hearing back from you.

    Thank you.

    Hello,

    Thanks for your feedback.

I’ll pass the video for the host to check.

Can’t I put a print screen here? Upload?

There is only 1 error: Server error (5xx)
It happened early September, otherwise there are 120 valid pages and 383 excluded.
But if I could a print screen would be better.

    Many thanks

    Update from the Host company:

“The Google Search Console account would be relevant if it were a link to be opened in Google’s search, but in the example provided, I verify that the invocation of the contents is being done directly in the browser. Additionally, I check characters in a language possibly from the East, so there is a high possibility that the search is being carried out in one of the risk countries that are blocked by our firewalls.

It would be important to identify either the IP or at least the country where the error is being detected.”

Can you provide these last info please?

    Waiting feedback.

    Hello,

You can send a screenshot using this tool. Alternatively, you can also record a video screencast using a tool like Loom showing the issue on your Google Search Console account.

It seems that your site’s not accessible on my colleagues’ end due to a firewall.

Our team is distributed around the world and we use dynamic IPs, so even if you whitelist one particular IP now when we get back to the ticket our IP might already have changed.

So, whitelisting a particular IP won’t help much.

In this case, you can whitelist or open access to countries India, Portugal, and the Philippines to investigate this issue on your site.

    Looking forward to helping you.

    Thank you.

    Hello,

With IPs from Portugal I know it works because I’m from Portugal.
Can you force to use an Portuguese IP please?

Please find attached a video of the search console: https://www.loom.com/share/0c5767e53b8940d0bc11abb35787ad81

Apart from the initial questions, can you please clarify if the all these excluded pages are something bad?

    Many thanks
    Nuno

    Hello,

Thank you for your patience as we look into your coverage and indexing issues.

Based on the screen recording you provided, the Google Search Console coverage report suggests your website has recently undergone a lot of changes with a large number of excluded pages. This is normal, please create redirects for deleted or moved posts where possible.

For content marked as 404 not found please redirect to existing posts if possible.

The pages marked as valid seem to correspond to the published content on your website on your website. You have 84 published posts and 3 published pages in your sitemap which matches exactly the 87 indexed and submitted in your coverage report. So, your published content is being indexed and ranked, this will not be negatively affected by the rest of your website.

Concentrate on optimizing currently published posts and new content. The SEO coverage issues on the deleted content will eventually be phased out.

Hope that helps. Let us know if you have questions.

    Hello,

    Thank you.
