I have RankMath integrated into my Elementor Pro site builder, and I’ve already added the template integration with the PHP code snippet. I have no problem accessing the SEO within Elementor for the template or page.
My site is set up with pages that have Elementor Templates applied to them. For example, when I go to edit my Home page, it’s fully displayed along with all of the content built into the template. My pages are fully built as templates, not “pages”. The page basically just acts as the place where the template is applied. Within my page editor for Home, the SEO acts as if the page has no content, because the content is within the template applied to the page.
My Home ‘page’ SEO says that I don’t have 300 words of content or use my Focus Keyword anywhere even though all of these things are displayed on the page as part of the template. This is the page that people will visit when going to my website at https://jayknows.tech.
My Home ‘template’ SEO reads everything as expected and gives me an accurate analysis – however, the URL for the template is not the actual page URL. I wouldn’t want search results showing up for the template piece itself, directing them to that Elementor template URL. This template is applied to the home page, which is why the image above looks identical.
Is there a way for the RankMath SEO Plugin to recognize that the template existing on the page contains the content that should be analyzed? Or do I have to do this in two separate places for every page?
Thanks, Jay
