You must allow Google some time to re-crawl your old pages, see the updated content, and re-index your pages with new info.
It can usually take upto 2 months for the complete process to conclude.

Once you have submitted your sitemap to the Google search console, no additional steps are required from your end. The search engine will assign a crawl budget to your site and start indexing content.
