SEO for embedded pdf files (2D or 3D pdf flipbooks)

    Hi

    Does anyone have an idea how ebedded pdf files in the form of flipbooks are treaded SEO-wise? I understand that Google/Bing to crawl ordinary pdfs since 2001 (even reading headings and content) and that you get a special SERP for them in search results. But what about pdf files in the (new) form of a 2D/3D flipbook (pdf displayed within a HTML5/WebGL container)? What can you do SEO-wise with RankMath to address such technology? If you insert such a flipbook into a webpage does the RankMath SEO plugin take care of such pdf content? Or does the plugin only care about the non-pdf webpage content?

    Hi,

    Thanks for getting in touch with us.

    If you insert those PDFs into a post or a page, you can do some of the regular SEO changes like add a custom SEO title and a custom SEO meta description.

    You could also add an intro or a synopsis of the PDF which is recommended but not essential.

    Apart from that, there isn’t much we would recommend doing SEO wise on those pages apart from building links just like you would to any other piece of content on your website.
