    Wordfence is blocking the updateMeta route that is used to save the data.

    I checked the Wordfence Allowlisted URLs and I can confirm that this should whitelist our updateMeta API route.

    I also tried creating a contributor account and the updateMeta is now working. Please refer to my video screencast in the Sensitive Data section.

    Can you please try clearing your website cache and check again on your end?

    If the issue persists, I suggest checking this one with WordFence to ensure that our API route is properly whitelisted.

    I changed the plugin to iThemes Security

    The problem resolved successfully.
