SEO Description not working

    Hello

    The SEO description for our pages doesn’t appear to be working despite being set in our CMS (WordPress). I have set the description for each page yet once saved it immediately disappears and the character count displays 0 despite there being a description in the box.

    Please ensure that you are using the latest version of Rank Math:
    https://rankmath.com/changelog/

    Then clear the Rank Math transients by going to Rank Math > Status & Tools > Database Tools > Remove transients

    If the issue persists, check if you are using a Firewall, as there are chances that it will prevent saving the data. You can check this link for more information:

    Hello

    Thanks for replying, I removed transients to no affect, and we are not using a firewall either.

    I did however discover this error in dev tools: Failed to load resource: the server responded with a status of 403 () /wp-json/rankmath/v1/ca/getCredits?_locale=user:1

    Could this be causing the issue, and how do i go about fixing?

    Hello,

    If you are not using a Firewall, the route must be blocked by the server.

    Please ask your web host to whitelist these routes:

    /wp-json/rankmath/v1/updateMeta
/wp-json/rankmath/v1/ca/getCredits

    Whitelisting the route should fix the issue.
