SEO Analysis showing Alt Text not completed

    I’ve been reviewing my SEO Site Analysis via RM and been making corrections. One correction I made was adding alt-text info to my logo image. It’s been weeks since I corrected that but when I run the site analysis again, the error still appears. I’ve double checked that the alt text exists and it does. I’m thinking this is a glitch that could be easily fixed?

    I suspect that our SEO analyzer might be parsing through cached pages on your site. Could you please flush your site cache and then run the site wide analysis once more to see if the results will be different?

    Hi Cindy,

    You have not shared the URL of your website.

    Please note that just because you have alt in media doesn’t mean it is showing up on the actual website. Without going into more detail, I would recommend checking the page source of your homepage and check the page source.

    Look for the filename and check if there is really an alt text attached to it. If not, please check with your theme provider. If you see that particular image already has alt, please share the URL so we can check in more detail.

    Hi Cindy,

    If you check the screnshot I shared in the sensitive area, you will see that the file is indeed missing alt text. Please contact your theme provider and ask them how to remedy it and use the media gallery’s alt in the images on the front end.
