SEO ANALYSIS GIVES ME 404 ERROR PAGE

    Rank Math free

Hi, I have recently been recommended RankMath for my SEO anaylsis. I downloaded it yesterday and everything was working well. After a couple of hours I developed a problem. When clicking on SEO analysis it no longer went away to analyse my website, instead it returned an “error 404” and redirected me to my homepage.

When looking in the 404 monitor I can see that URI reports wp-admin/admin.php on each occasion that it falls over.

I am not sure how to proceed or what I have done to create the error in the first instance. Any help would be very much appreciated.

    Regards

    Andy

  • Hello,

I have updated the sensitive data as requested. Can you please check further?

    Thank you.

    Hello,

Thank you for contacting Rank Math and sorry for any inconvenience that might have been caused due to that.

We have come across this issue before and it only seems to affect a number of sites. I have just logged in to your site and deleted the “rankmath_seo_analysis_results” entry from your wp_options table via the WP phpMyAdmin plugin. This should now fix the issue.

Looking forward to helping you. Thank you.

    Hi Andy,

Could you please take a look at the sensitive data section?

    Apologies for the inconvenience caused.

did you save my original Config file?

I have had to get in contact with my local IT man to gain access to the site. I am reluctant to you let you back in as it has cost me to rectify the situation.

I am not convinced that the new config file created will not generate problems going forward.

    Hi Andy,

    Thanks for the follow up.

I am glad that you were able to rectify this. I was able to collect some configuration data which I am now using to investigate this on my end.
