SEO Analysis Data is Incorrect in Many Places

I ran the SEO Analysis a few times and got a 93, which seemed accurate based upon my site’s SEO data.

I updated a few things and then ran the analysis again. Now it shows a score of 68 with many data points that are clearly incorrect.

For example, it says I don’t have a page title, meta description, h1 tag, h2 tag, etc. — but I have all of these, and the previous score of 93 confirmed that.

What’s going on? Is it a caching issue? Is something blocking the report from running correctly?

I use WP Rocket for caching, and their websites says there are no conflicts between these two plugins.

    Hi Jeff,

Thanks a lot for your query and we are so sorry about the trouble this must have caused.

We have dynamic IPs so our IP will have changed by the time you whitelist it.

I checked your website here and I am seeing a score of 58:

If you are using any cache plugins, please disable them and try running the score again. I think your minification plugin is causing Rank Math to not read your website properly.

Let us know how it goes.

I added WP Rocket as a caching plugin specifically because the Rank Math SEO Analyzer told me I needed to minify CSS and JS.

And now you say that minifying is what is breaking the Analyzer?

    That doesn’t make any sense.

Surely there is a way to minify without causing those test results to break.

Also, the Rank Math website specifically says that it’s 100% compatible with WP Rocket: https://rankmath.com/compatibility/wp-rocket/

Are there specific settings that need to be applied to make that statement true?

I have the same problem. SEO analysis is correct but often it does not change when I make improvements?

I tried switching off caching plugin and cleasning cache.

Does this issue affect Googles analysis of the site/page or does it mean only the Rankmath analysis is inaccurate?

Hi Jeff, I have replied to your other ticket. It seems our API cannot read some of your tags.

Hi Louise, Did you try clearing your website cache before attempting to run the SEO Analysis again? If it doesn’t work, would you mind sharing your website URL?

Hi Iain, it only means that our bots cannot see some content for some reason (API restriction or some bug) but it doesn’t affect your SEO visibility.

Hope that helps and please do not hesitate to let us know if you need our assistance with anything else.
