Hi – I am being told that images do not have alt attributes – but I have checked and every single image on my site has one – even images not currently use – the details are below in sensitive data.
    It is very confusing.

    Hello,

Thank you for contacting us and we regret the inconvenience caused.

I checked the source of your homepage and there are images without the ALT text. However, the image tags that are missing the ALT texts are present inside <noscript> tags, meaning that the images would be displayed if the actual image is not rendered.

Please have a look at the screencast in the sensitive data section of this ticket.

If a web browser doesn’t support JavaScript or if JavaScript is disabled on the browser, then the images within the <noscript> would be displayed. You can think of these images as a backup for the actual images.

The images in <noscript> tags would have been generated by a plugin on your website.

Since the SEO Analysis option checks the source of the page, until the ALT texts for these images would remain missing, the errors would be shown.

You may contact the support team of the plugin generating these image tags to get the ALT texts filled automatically as per the ALT text of the actual image.

    Hope that helps.

    Thank you.
