See IP address when a 404 error occurs

    Is it possible to see the IP address who has generated an error 404?
    Also to block the IP address if needed. I am using Rank Math for a while and am very happy with it but I am missing this part.

    I see many crazy attempts to files or url’s that looks like hacking. It would be nice to see which IP is generating this error 404 and maybe also to ban this IP from the website.

    Maybe there is a code snippet that I can implement that works with Rank Math to get this done?

    Thank you for contacting Rank Math and sorry for any inconvenience that might have been caused due to that.

    Unfortunately, from RankMath, there is no way to getting the origin of the request.

    You would need to find some other protecting plugin for such a task.
