Search console unable to fetch sitemaps

    I created sitemap from rankmath tool and when we submit into the search console we found an error “couldn’t fetch” I also waited for more than 1 week but still I’m facing the same issue.

    Thank you for contacting Rank Math and sorry for any inconvenience that might have been caused due to that.

    You seem to have submitted your sitemap with an /index/ tag. I checked your main sitemap and it appears to be your_domain/product-sitemap.xml

    We recommend that you should submit only our main sitemap(sitemap_index.xml). The others should be crawled through this.
