  • Hello,

I’m sorry to hear that you are facing issues with connecting your website to Google Search Console and Analytics in Rank Math. To resolve this, let’s start by checking the connection status in Rank Math.

    1. Google Search Console Connection:

      • Go to Rank Math SEO → General Settings → Analytics.
      • Look for the Search Console section and check if your website is listed under the Site drop-down list.
      • If it’s not listed or showing a red signal, you may need to reconnect your Google account. Follow the steps mentioned in the Search Console connection guide.
    2. Google Analytics Connection:

      • Go to Rank Math SEO → General Settings → Analytics.
      • Click on the Test Connections option at the top right to validate the connection with your Google account.
      • If you see a red signal, reconnect your Google account by following the steps provided in the Analytics connection guide.

If after reconnecting both accounts, the issue persists, please share the error log with us by opening a support ticket here. Our team will assist you further.

    Hello,

Thank you for contacting us and sorry for any inconvenience that might have been caused due to that.

Please try to follow the steps below and see if that works for you:

    1. Make sure that you have verified your website on Google Search Console, if not, follow this guide: https://rankmath.com/kb/google-site-verification/

    2. Please make sure that you are not connecting to Google Search Console via a domain property but rather a URL prefix and that you have verified the correct version of your website on the Google Search Console (HTTP or HTTPS, www or non-www).

    3. Please remove RankMath’s app from your Google apps permissions: https://myaccount.google.com/permissions

    4. Once done, reconnect the Google account again from WordPress Dashboard > Rank Math > General Settings > Analytics and configure the Search Console and Analytics settings again.

Kindly check all necessary checkboxes to allow Rank Math to access some of the Google Services.

Let us know how it goes. Looking forward to helping you.

    Thank you.

Thanks for the information. I have tried this and it did not work. I am now receiving this error message for the day 24 hours. Prior to this both Search console and analytics was still red and not working.

    Hello,

Please make sure you’re using the latest version of the Rank Math plugin on your website: https://rankmath.com/changelog/free/

After that. please check if there’s some security rule inside your .htaccess file which may prevent saving the settings.

You can also use the default .htaccess file from here: https://wordpress.org/support/article/htaccess/

Please do take a complete backup of your website before modifying your .htaccess as it is a sensitive file.

If the issue persists, you can follow this guideline to check if any of your plugins/themes are conflicting with Rank Math: https://rankmath.com/kb/check-plugin-conflicts/

Let us know how it goes. Looking forward to helping you.

    Thank you.
