  • Hi Himanshu,

Thanks for getting in touch with us.

It looks like you are not submitting the right sitemap path. Rank Math will create a sitemap with the following URL https://domain.com/sitemap_index.xml

If you are sure you submitted the correct URL but you are still facing this error, check for a plugin conflict using Health Check plugin.

If you are running W3 Total Cache along with Rank Math on your website, make sure you create another user agent group and add the ‘googlebot’ user agent to it.

I hope this info helps. Thank you.

thanks sir .. but now I have two question –
    1. what is W3 ??
    2. I am submitting https://domain.com/sitemap.xml since i have created my site .. and it is working .. only from last two days it is showing error .. i will submit sitemap_index no doubt, but why sitemap.xml not working ??

sir i have submit sitemap_index and it is seccessful but after opening it is only generating two sitemap –
    sitemap-category
    sitemap-page
and nt generating sitemap-posts, pls help me

    Hi there,

    Thanks for the question.

W3 Total Cache is caching plugin, you do not have to worry about this if you do not have it installed on your site.

To be able to add post and pages to your sitemap, please head over to Rank Math > Sitemap Settings > Posts > Include in sitemap as shown below:
    IMG

    Afterwards please do the following:

    1. Head over to WordPress Dashboard > Settings > Permalinks

    2. Hit the save button once.

    That should fix the issue.

If it doesn’t, please do let us know so we can look at this further.

Thank you sir, I have tried https://domain.in/sitemap_index.xml and it is working.
and before that this sitemap is inside the sitemap_index. I have to submit it seperately it is not coming inside thesitemap_index.
Is there any issue with this?
So can you do that so, all my sitemaps of category, page and posts comes under one sitemap?

    Hi there,

    Thanks for the follow up.

If the sitemap is now working correctly when you access the URL from the browser then you will need to head over to your search console dashboard and delete the current sitemap.
Next, resubmit the sitemap once again and the page sitemap will be under the sitemap index.

I hope this info helps. Thank you.

sir .. I have submitted sitemap again .. but https://domain.in/post-sitemap.xml is not coming under https://domain.in/sitemap_index.xml .. I am adding it separately.
and my views got down .. and I think this is due to this…
can you do me favour sir, pls check my console whether my site is working and indexing regularly on google or not .. I am updating daily min 5 posts and doing on-page SEO .. but still my views are getting down and down.

    Hello,

I have updated the sensitive data as requested. Can you please check further?

    Thank you.

    Hello,

    Thanks for the follow up.

Please add me as a property owner on your search console so that I can check this issue for you. I have added my email address on the sensitive data section.

We are looking forward to helping you. Thank you.

Sir I added you as Full authority to google search console.
pls do what is best for me .. !!
If you want my site access i will provide you my details.
i want to increase my views 😫😭
    one more issue –
when i am opening my site ex – domain.in first it goes to http://www.domain.in and then it redirect to domain.in .. but already already i am typing doamin.in, still it redirect. if this is a issue pls look at it !!
    and thanks for helping.

    Hi Himanshu,

    Thanks for the access.

I have deleted the current page sitemap and index file and then resubmited a new file which is now listing all the sub pages correctly.

I cannot replicate the redirection issue, please edit the first post on this ticket and include your WP logins in the designated Sensitive Data section.
    Sensitive Data Section

It is completely secure and only our support staff has access to that section. If you want, you can use the below plugin to generate a temporary login URL to your website and share that with us instead:

    https://wordpress.org/plugins/temporary-login-without-password/

You can use the above plugin in conjunction with the WP Security Audit Log to monitor what changes our staff might make on your website (if any):

    https://wordpress.org/plugins/wp-security-audit-log/

We really look forward to helping you.

    Hello,

I have updated the sensitive data as requested. Can you please check further?

    Thank you.

    Hi Himanshu,

    Thanks for the access.

I have checked your .htaccess file and there does not seem to be any existing redirection rules. This only appears to happen on your browser and may be as a result of cached local data.
Please clear your browser cache if you are still experiencing the redirection.

    Thank you.

How much time (Days) does a new sitemap needs to indexed on Google search ??

    Hi Himanshu,

    Thanks for the question.

Google will allocate a custom crawl budget to each website and thus this may vary from a few hours to several weeks.

I hope this info helps. Thank you.
