Search Console Confusion

    Rank Math free

On our dashboard for our website, when we scroll down to the module that says RankMath, under “Search Console” it is showing 0 impressions, 0 keywords, 0 keywords, 0 pages, 0 clicks, 0 average position, and 0 CTR.
We’ve had RankMath for some time now and we have registered our sitemap with Search Console (although have had issues with this in the past, however our most recent submission is listed as success with 35 URLs discovered), but we know that it isn’t true that there are 0 of all of those things. (We have a decent amount of blog content taking advantage of SEO best practices and on your ranking system consistently score around the 80s)

In addition, we are in the process of switching over to a theme that our original theme producers created (it’s not a complicated switch). However, below the Search Console section of the RankMath section of the dashboard, it’s showing 69 404 monitor Log Count, and 69 404 URI Hits. Is this because we’re using a staging site to make this change.

Some clarity on this would be helpful as to why it might be saying that set of statistics.

    Thanks

    Hello,

    Thank for your query.

Please head over to WordPress Dashboard > Rank Math > General Settings > Search Console and hit the update cache button once:
    update cache

The data should update automatically though. Please check with your web host and ask them if the WP Cron job is being executed properly.

About the 404s, you can check where they are coming from by heading over to WordPress Dashboard > Rank Math > 404 Monitor.

That will give you a pretty clear idea of where the issues might be.

    Thank you.
