Thank you for getting in touch and I am extremely sorry about the trouble this might have caused.
Do you have the sites under the same account? There seems to be an issue from Google’s end for Sites under the same account, as a workaround you can verify your site under a separate Google account.
If you do not wish to do that, please install Site Kit for now until Google fixes the issue with their API.

The Rank math search console section was showing a different site instead of the one I had installed rank math on. So I just removed that other site from my search console and that fixed my issue.
