Schema Missing

    Hello!

I’ve noticed in my posts the author meta is missing (article publisher, article author etc). I’ve checked a few competitors who also use Rank Math/Yoast and they have the correct data showing. I’ve included screenshots so you can see what I mean. User profile is filled out, so not sure where the problem is.

Also, my contact and about page aren’t showing any schema when validated. WordPress dashboard shows schema as ‘off’ for these 2 pages. My disclaimer and privacy policy are showing as ‘article’. How do I turn schema back on for these main pages?

    Thank you,
    Charlotte

  • Hello,

Thank you for contacting Rank Math and bringing your concern to our attention. I’m sorry for any inconvenience this issue may have caused you.

It seems that you have missed adding the image URL you are referring to.

However, please head over to your WordPress admin area > Rank Math > Titles & Meta > Authors, and enable the Author Archives:

Once done, clear your website’s cache and test the page again with the Rich Results testing tool and see if the issue gets fixed.

For Rank Math to add the appropriate schema to your about, contact, privacy pages, please ensure that those pages are selected in Rank Math > Titles & Meta > Local SEO. Also, ensure that the Local SEO module is enabled in Rank Math > Dashboard

    Local

    I hope that helps.

    Thank you.

    Hello,

I have updated the sensitive data as requested. Can you please check further?

    Thank you.

Hi! I’ve checked the above settings and they’re all fine on my site, but when I check my about and contact page it still says the schema is turned off. The about/contact are filled in on the local SEO tab.

I’ve also added the images to the sensitive data so you can see the difference in code inspection re author meta.

    Thanks!

    Hello,

When you fill the about and contact page in the Local SEO settings (under Titles & Meta), we automatically add the AboutPage and ContactPage Schema to those pages.

I checked the pages on your website and the Schemas are already added. You can have a look at the screencast in the sensitive data section of this ticket.

The Schema off that you’re seeing in the admin area means that you’ve not manually added a Schema from the pages.

    Hope this helps.

    Thank you.
