    Hello,

Thank you for contacting Rank Math.

You can use the Article schema for your website.

I hope this helps. Looking forward to helping you.

    Thank you.

I think I’m a bit concerned about the following Google warning When I select article?

Google does not allow Person as the Publisher for articles. The organization will be used instead. You can read more about this here.

    Hello,

As the “warning” suggests, you must have chosen Person for your Local Business:
    local business

Google requires this type of format for your article schema but you don’t have to worry since Rank Math will adjust the settings for you.

For Google, “Article” and “Blog Posting” is the same (even when having those two Schemas) so you can use whatever option you prefer.

Usually, blog posting goes for posts and articles for pages.

Hope that helps clear your doubts.

As the “warning” suggests, you must have chosen Person for your Local Business:

Yes, I have already selected this option.

And I have selected Article Type as Article as per the above suggestion (from your colleague). Hope this is fine

    Hello,

Thank you for the follow-up, and sorry for the delay.

It should be fine if you have chosen the Article schema.

I also wanted to add that there is very little difference choosing either option can have on your results:

I would recommend the Article Schema on evergreen content and BlogPosting on time-sensitive content. You can check this link for the difference.

I hope that helps. Thank you, and please don’t hesitate to contact us anytime if you need further assistance with anything else.
