schema indexing pages as articles

    Hello,

I emailed you about two weeks ago and this problem has still not been resolved. Rank Math is incorrectly categorizing pages as posts, and posts as pages. I see this in the “schema” details.

WordPress admin > pages > all

    at the top

title > author > date > Seo Detail (Rank Math)
    SEO Details
    65 / 100 Is Pillar
    Keyword: advanced
    Schema: Article
    Links: 1

This is not an article, it’s a page on my website.
    https://speakgenesis.com
    > speaking > advanced

Another example is my “contact” page.

    https://speakgenesis.com
    > contact

    9 / 100
    Keyword: Contact
    Schema: Article
    Links: 0

I’m providing my admin credentials, again. Will you please help me resolve this issue? An SEO score of 9/100-isn’t helping my ratings.

    Best,

    Kim

  • Hello,

Thank you for contacting Rank Math and sorry for any inconvenience that might have been caused due to that.

Rank Math will assign the article rich snippet to both pages and posts. This is not really a problem but you can set this to none by heading over to Rank Math > Titles & Meta > Pages > Rich snippet.

I have tested this by changing to another schema type from the sidebar and the schema is changed on the posts listing page. I have resaved the contact page and this seems to have fixed the low SEO score.

Looking forward to helping you. Thank you.
