Schema Doesn’t display the price of the selected product variation

    Hello –

    When we view the page source of a WooCommerce variable product page, the schema that is there shows the wrong price for the product that is selected.

    An example page:

    https://djdeals.com/product/audio-innovate-innofader-pnp2/

    Selected variation is NEW and the price is $125.

    The schema markup shows:

    <meta property=”product:brand” content=”Audio Innovate”>
    <meta property=”product:price:amount” content=”110″>
    <meta property=”product:price:currency” content=”USD”>
    <meta property=”product:availability” content=”instock”>

    $110 is the price is you were to select the OTHER variation “Open-box”.

    Google Shopping says that the product pages are wrong because the price of the product doesn’t match the schema. We need some help to fix that, please. Thanks!

    Hello,

    Thanks for getting in touch with us.

    Unlike the drop-down in your product’s front-end, the source code of your page doesn’t change on the fly. So, Rank Math just shows the lower price for your variable product.

    However, the range is correctly shown in the page structured data testing too:
    null

    If you have unique links going to each variation and that’s showing an incorrect price – then that might be a issue we would love to take a look at.

    Thank you Todd!

    Do you happen to have any idea (perhaps from prior people with this issue) how we would explain that to Google Shopping then? They are declining our products for their advertising program because their web crawler sees the schema as showing the wrong price.

    Example:

    https://djdeals.com/product/fog-it-up-snow-machine-fluid/

    We submit two different products to them for that product page, a Gallon size and a Quart. We tell them the price of each, correctly, in an xml feed, but then they claim that the prices are wrong because the schema doesn’t match the price.

    Google Says:

    Value in xml feed: $27.99
    Value in Schema: $13.99
