    Rank Math free

    Hi
I’ve been told my seo audit gut that Rank math is adding business location information=
    LOCAL BUSINESS SCHEMA ADDED=

He also says that these are only added for businesses where people would come to your store. And these are ONLY shown in search results IN that location= google will NOT show your search listings in ANY OTHER LOCATION.
If you are trying to sell online to all other areas, you should NOT be using this.

Is this correct and if so how do I switch this off?

    Rank Math business

    Hello,

Thank you for contacting Rank Math and sorry for any inconvenience that might have been caused due to that.

About not showing in any other location, it is not 100% like that. It is true that Google will focus there, but we have seen Google still shows the results in other locations.

In any case, if you are not providing products in a local business, you shouldn’t have it enabled. You can just go to the Rank Math settings and disable the Local SEO module if you are not going to use it.

Looking forward to helping you. Thank you.

    Hi Alberto,

Thanks for the reply, however i dont know how to reset the local seo. I’ve logged in and cannot find the option to disable the local seo.

    Regards

Hi ok I’ve found it but i wanted the knowledge graph still be active. Is there any other way of disabling local seo but keeping knowledge graph able?

    Hello,

Knowledge graph panels are usually automatically generated, and information that appears in a knowledge panel comes from various sources across the web. https://support.google.com/knowledgepanel/answer/9163198

You can influence this however by ensuring your site is eligible for Rich results, by testing your site here: https://search.google.com/test/rich-results.

The data added in Rank math > Titles & Meta > Local SEO is usually the data used but not the only way. You can also create a Google brand Account and verify your site on Google to claim the brand name. You can check this link to learn how to.

Another work around would be to create a business profile which usually appears similar to the Knowledge panel. To do this, you will need to add your brand to Google business listing

Hope that helps. If you have any further question(s), please let us know. Thank you.

    Thanks for your help everyone!
