    Hi Michael,

    I hope you’re well. I have a question regarding populating the RSS feed excerpts. Mine currently lists the Table Of Contents which doesn’t read very well – something like this:

    Table of Contents Tools You Will Need Materials You Will Need Preparation Building The Compost Bin Fill The Compost Bin …

    Is there a way I can point to another area of the feed, or pull in another area of the feed which is more legible?

    Also, I’m facing an issue with Remove Transients again. When I click the button I get this error:

    Something went wrong. Please try again later.

    Site Health comes back as Good, so no issues there. And I’m running today’s RankMath update.

    Hi Michael,

    I think you will need to write some custom code to customize the RSS feed for your WordPress pages. WP makes it super easy to customize the feeds and you can follow the steps on this page.

    Hi again Michael,

    It’s just been suggested to me (on my theme forum) to do this, which seems simple so I wanted to share with anyone else, who like me, totally missed this!

    The simplest fix would be to use the Excerpt field in the post editor.
