Role Manager Error

    I recently uninstalled the User Role Editor Pro plugin. I enabled role manager in rank math but I am not able to change the roles. I am unable to tick even a single box (even for administrator) while browsing the site as an administrator.

    I get the error:
    You are not authorized to perform this action.

    Are you logged in as a user?

    If that doesn’t work, we might need to take a closer look at the settings. Please include your WP logins in the designated Sensitive Data section.

    It is completely secure and only our support staff has access to that section. If you want, you can use the below plugin to generate a temporary login URL to your website and share that with us instead:

    You can use the above plugin in conjunction with the WP Security Audit Log to monitor what changes our staff might make on your website (if any):

    I as an administrator currently having an issue. Just when I have disabled some of the settings in the role manager for the administrator, then I can’t re-enable them. It shows, “You are not authorized to perform this action.”

    Fortunately, I had a backup of Rank Math settings and restored it which fixed the issue. 🙂
