Thank you for contacting the support.

Can you please check with your hosting if any actual file is present in the root?

Also, are you using any other plugin which edits the Robots.txt file?

    Looking forward to helping you.

    Hello Zaheer,

Please check the root folder of your WordPress installation.

It is the same folder where wp-content and wp-includes folder are.

If there is a robots.txt file in there, please remove for this issue to be fixed.

    Thank you.

    Hello Zaheer,

We are really sorry. Could you please share your WP logins so we can check this closely?

Please edit your first post on this ticket and add the logins to the sensitive data section.

We look forward to helping you.

I have contacted the theme developer, he says this problem is SEO plugin.

    Hello sir g…

    Hello,

I have logged in to your site and I can see that you are using a “Advanced caching plugin” as a WP drop-in (you can see it in Plugins > Drop-ins in the admin area). Please disable or remove this cache, and test again.

If it is still not working after you disable the cache, please share your FTP access details in the Sensitive Data field, and also keep the cache disabled so we can troubleshoot this issue for you.

    Thank you.

    Upsate sensitive

I disable cache plugin but not solve the problem.

    Hello,

I have logged in to your site again and fixed the issue, by changing the code in one of the files in Rank Math. Now the robots.txt is showing the correct content.

I have taken note of this issue and our developers will investigate it on our end. If it turns out to be a bug in Rank Math, then a fix for it will be included in the next update for the plugin.

Hope that helps. If there’s anything else, please let us know. Thank you.

Do not show rebots.txt file. Old rebots.txt show… new file not show…

    Hello,
I can see the new, edited version of robots.txt on your site, so it seems to work correctly for me. Please try one or more of the following suggestions:
    – Try opening the robots.txt in a different browser
    – Try “hard refreshing” the robots.txt in your browser
    – Try opening the file after cleaning your browser cache

If it is still not working correctly, please describe the issue in details (what is happening now and what should happen if it was working correctly, please include screenshots if possible), and add your site’s access details in the Sensitive Data field one more time.

If the issue is still happening, we will take a look at it again.

Thank you. Looking forward to helping you.
