robots.txt not working

    Hi,

    i installed rank math a while ago and i was checking the SEO analysis and it says:

    Robots.txt file is missing or unavailable.
    i tried to search the problem on google and here in this site but couldnt find a solution.

    I looked on the server and there is no ,file, so the message is correct, but why doesnt Rank Math create the file as it is supposed to do?

    I hope u can help me fix this issue.

    Thank you for contacting Rank Math and sorry for any inconvenience that might have been caused due to that.

    Your robots.txt seems to be only accessible with a slash at the end: https://your domain/robots.txt/

    Could you please try creating a robots.txt file on your root folder and check if this is the same.

    Hi,

    i created a robots.txt and uploaded it as you asked me. i got the same issues that it is only accessible when going to mydomain.com/robots.txt/

    i contact met webhoster to see if they can fix this
