robots.txt not found - Support

Hello, since a short time I use RankMath. But now I see my homepage isn’nt found in Google anymore. I also noticed I havent a robots.txt file anymore. Well it was shown in the ftp but I get an error when I try to reach it with my domain.nl/robots.txt or robots.txt/. So I removed it from the ftp but still it’s missing and Rank Math isn’t take it over.
But what to do now? I had for years good results with SEO and now it’s very bad.

Update 28-10-2020

I duplicated the site on http://www.itdentity.nl/test.
I checked both sites with https://technicalseo.com. The homepage of http://www.itdentity.nl/test is correct but the homepage of http://www.itdentity.nl is not ok with the Google bot.If I use Chrome as ‘User agent’ to check then it’s ok.
But not for Google and my homepage is gone in the search results of Google.

I also checked Google Webmasters. The homepage of http://www.itdentity.nl cannot be indexed because of an 404 error. Then I checked another page like http://www.itdentity.nl/webdesign and that page (and others) does not have a problem at all. They are ok.

I hope someone can help me with my homepage…

I checked your URL and it only seems to have Google bot Desktop User-agent returning a 404 error status. In this case it is likely an issue with your domian configurations. Please check these Google support articles on similar issues:
