Robots.txt error in GSC

    I had a robots.txt error using Yoast. I installed RM and have optimised the site but I am still having a robots.txt error. GSC says Parsing error.

    There is not site coverage in GSC although it was fine until two weeks ago.

    I also notice that in the RM https://rankmath.com/kb/general-settings/, it says in General Settings, SEO Settings, there is a tab to Eidt Robots.txt. There isn’t in mine – see attached.

    I also get this in GSC
    Page fetch Failed: Blocked by robots.txt

    Thank you for getting in touch with us.

    You seem to have Yoast currently active on your site.

    Please note that some options are only available when you enable the Advanced Mode in Rank Math. We give you an option to choose between the two during the setup wizard and you must have chosen to use the Easy Mode.

    You can switch to the Advanced Mode from the top-right corner at WordPress Dashboard > Rank Math > Dashboard

    You can check the affected URL here: https://technicalseo.com/tools/robots-txt/ to confirm if it’s actually blocked by the robots.txt
