  • Hello,

Thank you for contacting Rank Math and sorry for any inconvenience that might have been caused due to that.

The issue is arising from a static robots.txt file on the root of your site. Unfortunately the FTP access that you shared only lists an empty directory. Could you please check this?

Looking forward to helping you. Thank you.

I have updated the sensitive data as requested. Can you please check further?

    Thank you.

    Hi there,

Thanks for getting back to us.

I have modified your wp-config.php file to allow file editing by setting this line to false:
    define( 'DISALLOW_FILE_EDIT', false );

I have also deleted the current entries on this file to allow Rank Math to dynamically manage the sitemap file.

Please check the search console and let us know if this has fixed the issue.

    Thank you.

I checked but it is still showing the same thing.

This is what is showing up for my robots.txt file when I check on my site:

    Hi Hafiey,

Thanks for getting back to us.

The page is set to index on the robots meta on the page as shown below:

Please clear your site cache and and test the URL once again.

Let us know how this goes. Thank you.

It looks like it is working now. Thanks a lot for the assistance.

If you don’t mind me asking, could you please leave us a review (if you haven’t already) on about your overall experience with Rank Math? We appreciate your time and patience.
