    So, if I create the folder, what do I put in the XML file?

    Is it just an empty file called autodiscover.xml?

    Yes I believe that this is what the forum thread suggests since this is one of the first locations that the server will check.
    You can also redirect the 404s to your homepage as an alternative.

    I agree that is what the thread suggests. My concern is that if it’s looking for some sort of configuration file and it finds it blank, something else might break on the Exchange/Outlook side of things.

    Hi Jack,

    This is not likely since Outlook is currently running smoothly but reporting the 404 errors. What this will do is to significantly reduce the number of 404 errors reported by creating a redirect.
    The new location will serve as one of the first reference points that outlook will check and thus serving as a fix.
