Removing Local SEO from Titles & Meta

Hi… I found a video to deactivate Local SEO but I’m not sure if that is what I should be doing…
I was reading that I should not be able to see “Local SEO” in the Titles & Meta section if I had properly set up my website with the Setup Wizard. I do NOT have a brick & mortar location so I think I should not have Local SEO set up…

What is the process to remove that? Or do I need to go through the wizard? (I’m not sure if I did that originally or not.)

What do you recommend I do?

    Michael

  • Hello,

Thank you for contacting Rank Math today.

You don’t have to have a specific business location to have Local SEO. The Local SEO is used to show details about your business such as the logo, business type, phone number. In the Location Fields, you can opt to add just the region in which your Services extend to. You can modify the Local SEO data in Rank math > Titles & Meta > Local SEO. But if you wish to go through the setup wizard again, just head to Rank math dashboard > Setup Wizard.

Hope that helps. If you have any further question(s), please let us know. Thank you.
