Remove date from page in SERP

    Rank Math free

    Hello,
I switched 2 days ago from Yoast SEO to RM. I was using Yoast for 10 years and since there Google SERP snippets never showed the date of pages (I’m ok with post, but not with pages). Whiche was fine ! (I supposed I had set Yoast on “not show date”).
I published yesterday the 1st page using RM, and now the date is showing.
I send you screenchots to compare.
How can I set up RM to hide the dates of pages ? Somewhere in “Title & Metas” ?
    Thank you for your help.

  • Hello,

Thank you for contacting Rank Math today.

I am afraid that Rank Math does not have an option to remove the date from the meta description.
Please note that the option that you have referred to is only used to remove the date from the snippet preview on the backend and not on the SERP.

The Yoast SEO date setting applies to the snippet preview you see on your post in the Yoast SEO meta box. This does not impact whether or not Google shows a date but, instead, allows you to adjust the snippet preview to match how Google handles your site.

    More info here: https://kb.yoast.com/kb/date-appears-search-results/

To be able to remove all the dates from the SERP result, you will need to get in touch with your theme author so that they can help to clear the PHP code that adds the post date on the template.

Looking forward to helping you. Thank you.
